Homeschool Week FitPlanning & feasibility check
Readable details stay local

See whether your homeschool week really fits.

Compare the parent time your homeschool needs with the time you realistically have. If a day is overloaded, see small adjustments that may help.

What this tool checks
  • Weekly and daily parent workload
  • Protected commitments you do not want moved
  • Flexible lessons or prep that may be adjusted

It checks fit and suggests options. It does not build or change your schedule automatically.

Readable names, lesson titles, week names, and notes stay on this device. When you run Check My Week or request adjustments, only minimized schedule values, rule settings, and opaque IDs are sent to the protected analysis service.

Add lessons and commitments

Add what each child is already doing or what you want to include this week. This step checks workload; it does not choose curriculum for you.

Set your available parent time

Enter the time you can realistically give to active teaching, explaining, checking work, helping, and required prep on each homeschool day.

Count only time when you need to be actively involved. Do not include a child’s independent work time.

Use this if most days have the same parent-time capacity.

Weekly recovery

Adjust a disrupted day

Review before anything changes.

Use this when a homeschool day is lost or your available parent time changes. The tool may relocate only items you explicitly marked as movable. Protected Core commitments are never removed, deferred, shortened, or downgraded.

Validated adjustments

Small changes only. Every ranked option shown here has already been rechecked against the constraints this version currently evaluates. Some adjustments need your input before they can be validated. The tool does not auto-schedule your week, and nothing changes until you choose an adjustment.

Adjustments that need your input

These are not ranked yet. You make the required choices first; only one exact, globally revalidated result can enter ranking.

Best validated options

How these options are ranked

E2B v1.4 first keeps only adjustments that already passed whole-plan revalidation. It then prefers the least structurally disruptive tier, followed by fewer changed sessions/days, lower prep displacement, stronger operational buffer, fewer new dependencies, and any explicit preserve preference. SPLIT and SHARE share one structural tier; lower criteria decide between them. Equivalent options remain tied instead of being ordered arbitrarily.

LESSON DETAILS

Add lesson or commitment

Start with the essentials. Add schedule details only if you want day-specific adjustment suggestions.

min

Enter any whole number of minutes. This may be longer than the lesson if you want to count parent work tied to that session before or after it. Choose Whole session when you need to be involved for the full lesson.

Schedule & flexibilityOptional — needed for day-specific suggestions

Choose days only if you want day-specific suggestions. Leave them as “No day” for a weekly workload check.

Protected Core lessons are never deferred, split, or shared by these adjustment operations.

Prep timeOptional

These options only define which day or prep changes the tool may consider. A protected Core commitment is never removed or downgraded.

Copy from another child

Choose a child, then select the lessons or commitments you want to copy into .

Teach Science together

Which children join this session?

Shared teaching time is counted once for parent demand. This version can store the block’s placement and prep details, but it does not yet suggest moving the shared block itself.

Complete this adjustment

Make your choices to validate one exact option.
